With no competitive fixture scheduled due to cup ties AFC Groundhoppers managed to arrange a friendly against AFC Balham who play in the Southern Sunday League, Tony Eldridge Championship Division. The idea was for us to continue our momentum from last weeks victory but as kick-off loomed and only eleven men emerged from the dressing room it was starting to look like not such a good idea after all....

AFC Groundhoppers knew that nothing but a strong performance would be enough to guarantee a victory on the opening day of the season...

AFC Groundhoppers Seal Promotion

31st May 2017

AFC Groundhoppers finished 3rd in the Orpington and Bromley District Sunday League Football Division One behind undefeated champions Ex-Blues and Greencourt FC. All three sides along with fourth placed Farnborough OBG have all been promoted to the Premier Division next season.

OBDSFL - Paul Picard Cup

AFC Groundhoppers take a much needed break from the league schedule this Weekend as we host Senior Division side Hatcham in the last 16 of the Paul Picard Cup. The winners will face Ex-Blues in the Quarter-Finals.
